Those looking for project management jobs who undertake training schemes are more likely to gain, retain and advance in employment.
That is to be inferred from a new survey of the UK workforce published by the Department of Work and Pensions (DWP), which indicated that training is proportional to higher wages among employees.
The research indicated that training is common among staff members in large organisations, those with higher qualifications and employees on higher incomes.
It also bears out the fact that anyone considering applying for project management jobs will require a certain level of expertise; something that can be enhanced through various career-based training initiatives.
"The report does find a small effect on wages of undergoing training, and also increases in the rate of retention and moving into paid work," the DWP stated.
"However, the incidence of training appears to be falling (which may be reflecting higher unemployment), except among older workers."
