Marks & Spencer could be looking for people to fill human resources jobs after announcing plans to hire 20,000 temporary workers ahead of the Christmas period.
The company said that 320,000 hours will be worked every week by its employees and that its largest intake for any one store will be 262 new starters at its Camberley branch.
HR workers could be needed to help with the new intake of staff, who will be required to work a minimum of 16 hours every week.
Steve Rowe, the director of retail at M&S, said that every new member of staff will be trained to the highest standard.
"We offer an excellent benefits package, and all our new recruits take part in a two-day induction training session so that they are fully equipped to ensure our customers receive the best possible service," he said.
New staff may be selling items with a difference over the coming months, after the retailer announced that it would be putting red wine infused with chocolate onto its shelves this Christmas.
