Marketing jobs could be created on the back of success in the online video advertising market.
The sector is purportedly booming, with the positive trend set to continue for the foreseeable future, according to Web TV Enterprise (WTVE).
Jamie Estrin, managing director of WTVE, the UK’s largest premium online video advertising network, suggests that there is no reason to believe that online ad spend will fall anytime soon as it just keeps on rising.
He suggests that this is because the platform allows companies to focus on their target demographic more accurately than alternative advertising options.
Mr Estrin said: “In online video we are seeing continued growth and each quarter the line is going in an upward curve.
“Because the web has so many niche content areas, the targeting opportunities are greater than there are in other mediums, especially TV.”
Should the boom continue, the increase in interest in the area could create a number of new marketing jobs opportunities.
